Maniacs raise and re-raise with a lot of hands. This player-type believes that teen patti is all about bluffing. He also believes that he can bluff anyone and everyone off their hand. If you have a strong hand against a maniac, you should just re-raise by a small amount. The idea is that you want to give a maniac the room to try and re-raise you off your strong hand. You shouldn’t put in a big re-raise against maniacs. If you re-raise too big and the maniac has nothing, he will never call a big raise. For this reason, you should just re-raise by a small amount in order to give the maniac room to try and bully you off your strong hand.
These players are easy to recognise. They play in most pots and they are frequently raising, rather than calling. They will also attempt to bluff in bad spots. For example, the majority of players know that they need to get out of the way of a NIT who seems to be trying to build a large pot. However, a maniac may try to bluff the NIT.
